*With enemies in the White House like Omarosa and Sarah Sanders, it should be no surprise that April Ryan will not be there for the annual Christmas party.
If that wasn’t enough, Ryan has been very critical of Donald Trump, too. A month ago, during an impromptu Rose Garden press conference, she asked him about NFL players taking a knee to protest the police brutality and racism in America. Needless to say he was not thrilled to have to deal with her and her question.
So, it’s no surprise that she’s not on the invite list.
The White House failed to invite a popular and combative black reporter to the annual holiday party because, the reporter said, officials in the Trump administration “don’t like me.” American Urban Radio Networks Washington Bureau Chief April Ryan, one of the few minority female journalists credentialed to attend the White House daily press briefings, said it was no mistake that she had yet to receive an invitation for the yuletide event.
