*It has been 30 years since the first “Lethal Weapon“ film hit the big screen and since then spawned a franchise that includes three sequels and a television series.
Deadline was the first to report of a possible “Lethal Weapon 5” directed by Richard Donner.
EUR correspondent Jay Styles caught up with Mel Gibson at the Daddy’s Home 2 press junket in Los Angeles and asked if there was any truth to a “Lethal Weapon 5.”
“You know.. I hope so, nothing is ever for sure in this game,” Gibson said. When asked if he spoke with Danny [Glover] about it, he responded “a little bit yeah” and mentioned that he went to go see Danny in a stage play in Los Angeles.
That play, “Yohen,” was reviewed here at EURweb.
