*Former Bad Boy singer/producer Mario Winans, featured on Diddy’s hit “I Need a Girl Part 2,” was arrested on Wednesday for owing over a hundred thousand dollars in back child support for his 12-year-old son.

According to TMZ, the artist owes a total of $178,000 after he failed for years to pay his court ordered $3,500 per month.

In court documents, Mario claims to earn about $3,000 per month off his songwriting. He told the court he could secure a loan to immediately pay $10,000 off the debt. That satisfied the judge enough that Winans was released, but with a GPS ankle monitor, TMZ reported.

Mario has yet to address the reports, but he shared the below photo via Instagram on Thursday alongside his wife and son. “Smiling Winans!!!!! Enjoy life to the fullest!!!! #LivingWinans “he wrote.
