*For me, Hugh Marston Hefner was the epitome of friendship and love. He was a true activist, a fighter for equality and a controversial revolutionary.
We all know Hef loved women, but he loved many things, including jazz, old classic movies, his work on the magazine, and most of all his family and friends.
Hef lived a life with more true friends than anyone, and I was one of them. He was a gift to us that we will never experience again. He gave us all the opportunity to re-live the roaring 20s and 30s as we visited the Playboy Mansion for so many unique occasions throughout the years – not to mention rubbing “shoulders” with the most beautiful women in the world!
Hugh Hefner’s passing is indeed the end of an era – a wonderful era. Thank you Hef, you did it all. We love you. Rest in peace, my dear friend.
