Smith is best known for her work as a co-host on Bravo’s fashion-themed talk show “Fashion Queens” and dishing with celebrity guests on her SiriusXM radio show “Bevelations.” The lifestyle guru is also the creator of the dinner party series, “Dinner with Bevy.”

EUR/Electronic Urban Report caught up with Smith to get the scoop on what viewers can expect “Page Six TV” to deliver and how she plans to bring her unique style to the series.

Here’s what she had to say:

There are several television newsmagazines that cover gossip and entertainment. How does ‘Page Six TV’ distinguish itself?

Page Six is the OG of the gossip game, you tell me what other show has the credibility of 40 plus years of being at the center of the pop culture zeitgeist.  Our contributors, Carlos & Elizabeth are real journalists so they aren’t spreading unsubstantiated rumors, they vet their stories.  I come in as the source who is a part of multiple scenes, from fashion, art, media, music, and film.

In terms of how you will bring your own flair as a contributor, give some examples of what viewers can expect.

My flair comes from being in the room where it happens.  I’m cordially invited to events where many others are on the sidewalk.  Plus I have solid relationships with celebs and notables based on my career at Vibe, Rolling Stone, Dinner With Bevy and my Sirius XM show, Bevelations.

You’re known for serving the tea straight up, will anything be off limits?

Page Six TV didn’t hire me to destroy my relationships by spilling potentially harmful secrets about celebs I have relationships with.  I’m on the show to give context to stories that Carlos & Elizabeth find plus add my own pizzazz!

How do you get your subjects, particularly notoriously difficult ones, to open up?

When I interview people I’m genuinely interested in their stories, I’m not out for the “gotcha” moment. Once celebs realize it’s a friendly space they relax & open up!

Most people look at your job and think it’s easy-breezy and glamorous. What would people be surprised to know about it?

I won’t lie my gig is glamorous, but it’s still work.  When I speak I want to add to the story with facts, not hearsay, so there’s research that goes into all that I do in the public space.

Thanks, Bevy!
