*Snoop Dogg’s son Cordell Broadus made a New York Fashion Week appearance this week working Philipp Plein’s runway along with his grandfather, Vernell Varnado, aka Poppa Snoop.

“I’m just using fashion as a vehicle to open up more doors and opportunities for my entrepreneurialism further down the line,” the 20-year-old told the New York Post backstage at the show.

Broadus, a 4-star receiver among the nation’s top 20 in his position out of high school, famously quit the UCLA football team in August 2016 to pursue his interests in the entertainment field.

“I want to executive-produce and star in my own movies. I’m going to use modeling as a branding platform so people can see my face and see my brain,” continued Broadus, who also rocked the Dolce & Gabbana runway in June. “I want to make movies like Marvel, and I want to tell stories. I want to do a story on my grandfather and his life because he’s a Vietnam vet. He’s got tremendous stories and life experiences.”

Poppa Snoop, who appears in five scenes in the Tupac Shakur biopic, “All Eyez on Me,” caught Plein’s eye when he accompanied Broadus to the casting call last week. The former mailman shared a pic from the encounter on his Instagram, and it exploded.

“I came up here just to be his guardian angel, and all of a sudden I get 2,000 followers in two days,” Varnado said backstage, before slipping into his all-black Plein outfit with sneakers and sunglasses.

Broadus, meanwhile, worked the catwalk in a black leather jacket worn open over his bare chest and damaged jeans. “It’s hard. I look like a rock star! I love it!” he said.

In other Broadus news, the budding entrepreneur is also looking to boost his brand with a prospective design gig at LaVar Ball’s Big Baller Brand.

“I love the Big Baller Brand, but I think they could use some of my help,” he told TMZ Sports. “I wanna help design some stuff for them.”

Ball has already created shoes for two of his sons. The ZO2s, which he created as a signature shoe for Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball, are going for $495 each, while he made the $395 Melo Ball 1s for his youngest son, LaMelo, who is still in high school.
