Future and Cher Remake ‘Everyday People’ for New Gap Ad (Video)

*Music icon Cher and rapper Future team for a new Gap Ad in which they deliver an auto-tuned remake of Sly and the Family Stone’s “Everyday People.”

The 30-second spot from producer Director X, part of GAP’s Meet Me in the Gap campaign, finds the duo seated on white stairs in a crisp white room, decked out in GAP denim as Cher takes the lead vocals. The 1969 classic from Sly and the Family Stone” gets a trap-like update.

“I didn’t know who Future was before this, but I knew it would be so fun to work with someone who is completely unlike me, and who is young, really talented and striving,” Cher told Evening Standard of her experience working with the rapper.

In a separate interview with People, Future praised the singer as “a true performer and a legend.”
