*New mom Serena Williams is trying to get her father’s soon-to-be ex wife out of the family home once and for all, while one of the tennis champ’s biggest adversaries finally comes clean about the root of their contentious rivalry.
“Even now, she can make me feel like a little girl,” tennis star Maria Sharapova says of Serena in her new memoir “Unstoppable: My Life So Far.”
Maria recalls the time at age 17 when she was finally able to beat Serena after multiple attempts. It was the 2004 Wimbledon championship, and Sharapova said she walked into the clubhouse afterward and overheard Serena crying – apparently over losing the match.
“I don’t think she’s ever forgiven me for it” – witnessing this “low and vulnerable moment,” Maria writes. “I think Serena hated me for being the skinny kid who beat her, against all odds, at Wimbledon. I think she hated me for taking something that she believed belonged to her. I think she hated me for seeing her at her lowest moment. But mostly I think she hated me for hearing her cry. She’s never forgiven me for it.”
Sharapova went on to describe how she continues to be intimidated by the youngest Williams sister.
“First of all her physical presence is much stronger and bigger than you realize watching TV. She has thick arms and thick legs and is so intimidating and strong. It’s the whole thing – her presence, her confidence, her personality.”
To deal with her fear, Sharapova says she takes on “a maddening composure and a stately calm” whenever they must face each other.
In other Serena news, the athlete is reportedly attempting to evict her stepmom and half-brother from her family home.
According to TMZ, Serena ordered her father Richard’s estranged wife Lakeisha Juanita Williams to vacate the family home immediately, and has threatened to change the locks. As previously reported, Richard, 75, filed for divorce from Lakeisha, 38, in June following seven years of marriage. Their have a son together.
In new court documents filed in Florida, Lakeisha claims Richard has ordered her out of the Florida home where they lived, a home she claims is owned by his daughter, Serena.

In the court docs, Lakeisha says Serena’s legal team fired off demand letters “requesting she and the child vacate the home and threatened to change the locks.”
So far, Lakeisha refuses to budge.
Lakeisha has also filed an emergency motion begging the court to force the sale of another property they owned together because she needs the money.
She’s also concerned Richard has “health issues” and could die — and if that happens, his fortune could be tied up for years while the courts decide who gets what. She needs the cash, stat.
