*Taylor Swift dropped her new single “Look What You Made Me Do” on Friday (Aug. 25), with lyrics that come for everyone on her ‘”list,” including Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and Katy Perry.
About an hour after the midnight release, Nicki Minaj sent out a tweet that many believe was a shot at the pop star. Using a line from Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble,” Minaj wrote, “Ni**a sit down. Be humble.”
Nigga sit down. Be humble

The Swift/Minaj beef sprouted in 2015, after Minaj discovered that her visual for “Anaconda” did not receive a VMA nomination for Video of the Year, but Swift’s video for “Bad Blood” did. Nicki tweeted at the time: “If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year.”
“Bad Blood” ended up winning the category, and the feud appeared to end when they opened the award show with a duet. But some fans think Swift reheated the beef in her new single after Nicki guested on “Swish Swish,” the new Taylor Swift-targeted single (allegedly) from friend-turned-enemy, Katy Perry.
Hours after Minaj’s “be humble” tweet, “Good Morning America” debuted a teaser of the video for “Look What You Made Me Do,” and the Beyhive got in formation immediately, accusing the singer of copying Beyonce’s look from the “Lemonade” era.

Meanwhile, TMZ is reporting that the lyrics to “Look What You Made Me Do” are solely for Kim and Kanye, and avoid Katy Perry altogether.
Our sources tell us the song is definitely targeting the Wests, who Taylor feels betrayed her by releasing their now infamous phone convo. Taylor’s side of the story has always been … they discussed the lyric but she never approved Kanye calling her “bitch” in “Famous.” We’re told Taylor feels she was backstabbed by the couple and there will be more not-so-subtle hints in the official music video, which will debut Sunday during the VMAs. Taylor released a short clip that zooms in on her sitting on a throne … with the inscription, “et tu, brute.” When the disses turn Shakespearean … you know it’s serious.
Below, the lyric video for “Look What You Made Me Do” (from her forthcoming album “Reputation”), followed by the 15-sec teaser of the video ahead of its full debut Sunday at the VMAs.
