*Demi Lovato will step into the ring this weekend to perform the national anthem ahead of Saturday’s anticipated match between boxer Floyd Mayweather and MMA fighter Conor McGregor, Sports Illustrated’s Mike Dyce confirmed Tuesday on Twitter.
Lovato, 25, is reportedly a longtime fan of MMA and its fighters. According to Page Six, she’s dated MMA star Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos before a May breakup, and weeks later she was linked to Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone. She also enjoyed a fall fling with fighter Luke Rockhold.
Other celebs due to attend the fight include Angelina Jolie, Drake, Denzel Washington, Charlize Theron and Patriots owner Bob Kraft, among others, according to TMZ.
Mayweather and McGregor will face off at the T-Mobile Arena inside the MGM Grand.
