According to TMZ, prosecutors decided not to charge the rapper with felony reckless endangerment charges following his arrest for allegedly riding his dirt bike without a helmet and poppin’ wheelies while shooting a video in Harlem.

The new charge appears to be a misdemeanor, according to TMZ.

Prosecutors have not disclosed the reason for dropping the original charge, but Meek’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, says the case never made sense because the incident took place Wednesday night directly in front of cops who did nothing to stop it.
