*CarMarshal.comĀ is offering a new convenient service that takes the hassle out of buying a car, using a new proprietary software that helps buyers find a car at a lower than advertised price.

The service is setting out to help car buyers save time and money by offering potential buyers access to more than 100,000 new and used cars, trucks and SUVs at dealerships around the country. Competing directly againstĀ cars.com,Ā autotrader.comĀ andĀ truecar.com, the Dallas-based, black-owned third party advertiser of new and used cars says is offering buyers a solid alternative.

ā€œLook, we know people looking for a car have plenty of choices,ā€œ Tracey Watts, the companyā€™s African-American founder and CEO, said. ā€œOur purpose is to get the customer a car at a lower than advertised price.ā€

Customers can search for a car 24/7 by going toĀ carmarshal.com. Car buyers enter their zip code, the make and model of a new and/or used car, then immediately get a list of available cars and their prices in their zip code and within 200 miles. When buyers click on the ā€œnegotiateā€ button, they set up an account with an email and password, then choose two manufacturers.

Thatā€™s when theĀ carmarshal.comĀ team begins negotiating a price and receiving bids for those cars. The car buyer remains anonymous, and not until the buyer is ready to make a purchase does he or she receive a certificate from that dealer locking in that price. For $39.97, customers can get access to carmarshal.comā€™s more aggressive negotiating program. If buyers are not satisfied with the choices,Ā carmarshal.comĀ will refund the fee.

ā€œWe know how much people hate to buy a car,ā€ Watts said. ā€œWeā€™re doing the heavy lifting so all a person has to do is sign the paperwork and pick up their car.ā€

Watts said he got the idea forĀ carmarshal.comĀ several years ago. He was shopping for a car and found himself with two dealers bidding to get his business. He ended up with a less expensive price, then realized this was an opportunity to help car buyers get the best deal possible. The owner-financed company also is working on getting customers the opportunity to purchase the Katanka ā€“ an electric SUV – in the U.S. The car is currently manufactured by Dr. Kwadwo Safo, Ghanaā€™s only auto manufacturer.
