*Stunned reaction from a Fox News panel who happened to be on air during President Trump’s off-the-rails press conference on Tuesday has gone viral.
Even conservative hosts and commentators in the president’s proverbial backyard were appalled after he defiantly and historically called some of the white nationalists marching through Charlottesville “fine people” and placed them on the same moral ground as the protesters who fought against them.
Kat Timpf of “Fox News Specialists” slammed Trump’s words as “one of the biggest messes I’ve ever seen.” Timpf said she could not believe that they even had to comment on whether or not it was controversial to say “white supremacist Nazis” are all bad people.
“I’m wondering if it’s actually real life what I just watched,” Timpf said of Trump’s defensive press conference.
“It shouldn’t be some bold statement to say a gathering full of white supremacist Nazis doesn’t have good people in it. Those are all bad people. Period,” she added.“And the fact that it’s controversial ― I don’t know if I should just laugh so, I have too much eye makeup on to start crying right now. It’s disgusting.”

Later, Fox News commentators Charles Krauthammer and Laura Ingraham got into a heated back and forth on “Special Report.” Krauthammer appeared disturbed when Ingraham dismissed Trump’s behavior as the president getting “sidetracked” and “caught in kind of the pundit trap.”
“To critique what he did today on the grounds that it distracts from the agenda or was a tactical mistake I believe is a cop-out,” Krauthammer said to Ingraham. “What Trump did today was a moral disgrace.”
“What he did is he reverted back to where he was on Saturday, and made it very clear that what he read on … Monday, two days later, was a hostage take,” he added. “That wasn’t Trump speaking. That was the aides speaking.”

On the set of Fox News’ “The Five,” hosts Jesse Watters and Juan Williams got into it over Trump’s coddling of the racists in Charlottesville.
“I just didn’t understand why he felt the need to double down,” Williams said of Trump. “He had some healing … given the statement yesterday to move on. Instead, he has dived back into the mess … These folks came armed with guns.”

Of course, Trump’s biggest Fox News stan, Sean Hannity, praised Trump for not commenting immediately on the hate groups at the rally, and predictably found a way to bash former President Barack Obama for making statements that supported Black Lives Matter following the deaths of Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown when he was president.
