*Kim Kardashian was quick to defend the racist past of her former stylist (and current foe), Jeffree Star, who has a rich history of calling black women the N-word and has been captured on video spewing racist rhetoric.

Earlier this week, Star trashed Kardashian’s KKW contour kit swatches, calling them chalky. Kim’s fans came to her defense by sharing old clips of Star’s offensive comments. But in response, Kim made two videos berating her fans for being “petty” and “bringing up things from his past.”

“Because of his remarks, I’m learning from the best,” she said Monday night on social media. “Guys, it’s so petty bringing up things from his past. I get it’s a serious deal if you say racial things, but I do believe in people changing and people that apologize, I will give them the benefit of the doubt.”

She explained, “I know better than anyone that I hate when people bring up my past or mistakes I’ve made in the past. So let him live.”

The mother of three added, “I want to make one last thing clear, I do not defend people that are racist and I am very against it. But if someone claims that they have changed, I would love to give them the benefit of the doubt and I pray to God that they do change for the sake of my children and my friends.”

Welp, the Internet came for her with a quickness, and some 24 hours later she was singing a different tune. Kardashian posted two more videos, this time apologizing for defending Star’s racist past.

“I really wanted to apologize to you guys and my fans for defending a situation yesterday that I really didn’t know enough about,” she said via her Instagram stories. “I just feel a bit naive.”

“I do want to really apologize for me feeling like I had the right to say get over in a situation that involves racism and I really don’t feel like I have the right to speak on that.”
