*Earlier we reported on the split of Evelyn Lozada and former MLBer Carl Crawford over what some say was his infidelity. Also, it was speculated that Lozada used her fertility challenges to enhance her storyline on “Basketball Wives.”
Folks are questioning not only the timeline of their split, but if she used her fertility struggles and the status of her engagement as storylines to return to the hit VH1 show.

Meanwhile, the engagement may be off but Evelyn has no plans of returning that 14.5-carat diamond engagement ring.
According to TMZ:
Legally, Lozada is obligated to give the ring back — since an engagement ring is considered a conditional gift in California, the condition being she has to get married. But sources close to Lozada tell us … Crawford ain’t getting it back.
The site also reports that she plans to hold on to the ring until the day comes when she can pass it on to her kids.
The back story of course is that Crawford, who once signed a $142 MILLION contract, proposed to the “Basketball Wives” star with the $1.4 million ring back in 2013.
But then, as we said up top, the two were set to get married several weeks ago, but Evelyn said hell-to-the-naw and pulled the plug after getting suspicious about Carl’s fidelity.
