If You Missed it: The 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards Winners List

*In case you didn’t have a chance to catch the MTV Movie & TV Awards Sunday night, we’ve got the complete winners list for you below.

If you didn’t see it, you probably didn’t know the show has been revamped and was hosted by Adam Devine. The show used to be called the MTV Movie Awards, but now it honors fan faves in movies AND television, hence the new name.

What’s also new and interesting, is that they got rid of gender-based categories, opting for a simple ‘Best Actor’ award.

Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” took home movie of the year, while Netflix’s “Stranger Things” won the first-ever show of the year award.

Oh yeah, there was one interesting moment that happened at the awards that’s of note.

Ashton Sanders and Jharrel Jerome (pictured above) from “Moonlight” won best kiss at the awards and lo and behold, they were there to accept. Needless to say, since it was an MTV award show where women have kissed women lots of times, there was anticipation as to whether two dudes would go for it on live TV. Well, all we can say is watch below to see what happened.
