*Mel B has reportedly blocked husband Stephen Belafonte from accessing all of their bank accounts. The freeze comes as the divorce, child custody and restraining order battle with her ex heats up.
Mel claims she was an abused woman during her relationship with Belafonte, and that he forced her to have threesomes and controlled her $50 million finances.
Meanwhile, Belafonte is said to have contacted ex Nicole Contreras — whom he was convicted of assaulting — and whined about his cash flow being cut off. Nicole says she regrets not warning Mel about his “abusive” behavior, Page Six reports.

A source claimed: “This has hit Stephen hard. Mel has finally pulled the rug out from underneath him and that seems to have left him a bit lost. He’s even been back in touch with Nicole moaning about it — insisting it has left him struggling to get by. He has had instant access to a fortune for such a long time that he doesn’t seem to know what to do.”
Mel has also indicated that she doesn’t want to pay “spousal support” to Belafonte. Meanwhile, he has filed for an allowance and is demanding she covers his hefty legal bills.
The couple is also preparing to battle for custody of their five-year-old daughter, Madison. Belafonte also want to remain a constant figure in the life of the daughter she had with Eddie Murphy. Mel B has obtained a court order banning Belafonte and their former nanny from releasing any sex tapes featuring her.
Of course Belafonte denies all the allegations against him, and his lawyer says: “Ms. Brown is creating further hysteria and seeking meaningless court orders.”
Mel B has been trying to put her divorce drama aside as she gets back to work filming in California. She was spotted on a location shoot in Inglewood this week, days after her split from husband Stephen Belafonte turned nasty. She filed for divorce from Stephen last month after 10 years of marriage.
