*French Montana has apologized for making a number of crude, derogatory comments about a black woman on Twitter.
On Wednesday (April 5), the Morocco-born rapper got wind of a tweet from a young woman that read: “The fact that French Montana thinks anyone cares about him..” She ended it with a tired face emoji.

That prompted Montana to clap back with: “U musty crusty dusty rusty ass hoe. With them nappy ass poetic justice braids take your cum drinking Dick banging ass somewhere n be humble.”

Social media pounced on the rapper’s response, calling it unnecessarily demeaning by using the term “nappy” to describe her hair. Montana initially defended his tweet.

As the backlash increased, Montana called into The Breakfast Club to apologize and explain that he didn’t know the particular pain that comes with the term “nappy.”
