The Canadian rapper, who got his start on the high school-themed TV show “Degrassi: The Next Generation,” has purchased the rights to gritty British drama “Top Boy,” and will take on a prominent role in the series for its upcoming third season, according to BBC News.

The show focuses on rival gangs and their involvement in the drug trade in fictional London housing project.
