*Christmas will come early for En Vogue fans when the ladies drop their first album since 2004’s “Soul Flower” this summer.
Their new album, titled “Electric Cafe,” will coincide with a world tour, kicking off at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival in South Africa before heading to Europe in April.
En Vogue are one of the top five selling American female music groups in history — having sold over 20 million albums worldwide.
“Our new release has been a long time coming,” Cindy Herron-Braggs said in a statement, “and we can’t wait to share where we are musically today! Hope our fans will enjoy.”

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” drew nearly 1 million viewers for Friday’s Season 9 premiere, breaking ratings records and making it the show’s most-watched episode ever. The episode also scored its highest Twitter volume ever, Vh1 reports.
Deadline reports that the reality show more than doubled its viewership from last season’s debut on Logo. The Emmy-winning series moved to VH1 as part of the recent restructuring under the networks’ owner Viacom.
The second episode of Season 9 airs Friday at 8 PM with guest stars Lisa Kudrow and the B-52s.
