*Nebraska’s Lincoln Journal Star newspaper reported that Chris Brown’s Party Tour was coming to town on April 10 without 50 Cent, who is featured on the original bill.
“We just got informed, and that is accurate,” said Tom Lorenz, a spokesman for SMG-Lincoln, where Brown will perform. Lorenz told the paper he hasn’t received an explanation as to why 50 Cent is MIA.
Upon further digging, it turns out 50 Cent has exited the tour altogether.
Ticketmaster no longer shows 50 Cent appearing in any shows on the two-month spring tour.
Opening performers for concerts are subject to change, meaning there will not be refunds issued because of 50 Cent’s change of plans. Brown’s show still includes three opening acts — rappers Fabolous, O.t. Genasis and Kap G.
