Fantasia Announces Return after Burn Accident: ‘I’m a Act Up On Stage’

*Fantasia is no letting some second degree burns keep her down.

The singer is scheduled to return to the stage tonight (March 8), just three days after skipping a show in Memphis after severely burning her arm on her tour bus. She’ll hit Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater alongside Johnny Gill on Charlie Wilson’s “In It To Win It Tour.”

“Jumped up and realized what don’t kill you will only make you stronger,” the former season three “American Idol” winner wrote on Instagram Tuesday (March 7) alongside a picture with her husband, Kendall Taylor. Her right arm is bandaged in the photo.

She continued: “I think I’m a act up on stage tomorrow and I’m going back to get my SHOW! Yes, the devil tried his best to shut me up & out from “MEMPHIS” but I’ll soon come back to party w/ you.”

Tasia, who earned her second No. 1 debut on the R&B Albums chart last August with “Definition,” was slated to perform at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee, on Sunday as part of Wilson’s tour.
