*Oprah Winfrey says hold up, wait a minute!
All day long she’s hearing folks talk about her running for president in 2020. But maybe it’s her fault. And we assume folks got things all twisted after hearing her say this earlier today:
“I thought, ‘Oh gee I don’t have the experience. I don’t know enough. And now I’m thinking, ‘Oh? Oh!’” Winfrey said during an interview on Bloomberg’s “The David Rubenstein Show: Peer-to-Peer Conversations.”
She was responding to a point made about Donald Trump being elected president with a complete and utter lack of political experience.
Well now that she’s heard a day full of buzz about her comment, the media mogul wants to make it clear … she’s NOT looking to be POTUS.
Bloomberg posted an additional clip from from “David Rubenstein Show” which shows Winfrey putting an end to all the speculation that started when she danced around the initial question: Would she run for president?
Oh yeah, if it means anything, Donald Trump once told Oprah , to her face, .that he probably wouldn’t run either.
