*Popular 90’s group Xscape has reunited…. if you care.

Seriously, do folks care about an Xscape reunion?

IJS…. clearly folks have been biding their time waiting for Kandi Koated Nights and nem to reunite.

The members of the group: LaTocha and Tamika Scott, Kandi Burruss, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, confirmed news of their reunion on Big Tigger’s radio show on Atlanta’s V103, marking their first group interview together in almost 20 years. The four have plans to go on tour and release new music.

LaTocha, missed the interview in person, but called into the station & shared an additional announcement on Instagram. “It’s official ‘Xscape is Back,” she wrote (see post below).

The group had 3 consecutive Platinum albums along with 6 top 10 hit songs on the Billboard Hot 100 during the 1990s including “Just Kickin’ It,” “Who Can I Run To,” “The Arms of the One Who Loves You,” and “My Little Secret.” The original lineup of the group consisted of sisters LaTocha and Tamika Scott, Kandi Burruss, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, and Tamera Coggins, though Coggins departed the group before their debut album was released.

Click here for some of the backstory behind why the members split. Internal drama led to the breakup, and back in the day, Tameka blamed Kandi for the break up after supposedly sleeping with producer Jermaine Dupri. But today, both ladies may deny this.
