*On today’s “Ellen,” Kris Jenner stops by to promote the upcoming season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” which includes an episode focused on her daughter Kim Kardashian West’s robbery incident in Paris last fall.
“It was devastating,” said the Kardashian momager.
In the season’s second episode, Kardashian details the moment during Paris Fashion Week last October when masked men with guns entered her hotel room and tied her up while stealing millions of dollars worth of jewelry.
“Now we just started seeing some of the stuff that had come out of those days and it’s…Nobody can even get through the first five minutes without being hysterical. I get choked up just thinking about it and talking about it,” said Jenner. “I was watching it and I was balling when I saw it. I just saw some of it, and I couldn’t even watch the whole thing. I mean, it was so upsetting. It was such an upsetting time when something so awful happened to somebody that you love so much.”
Jenner says Kardashian West found the experience of opening up to her family very therapeutic and decided to go through with it because she wanted to raise awareness. “It’s changed the way we live our lives and just the way that we take care of our kids and my grandchildren,” said Jenner, who also teased that her daughter’s husband, Kanye West, is a “big part” of the episode.
