our roots - obamas white house - william lee

Kicking off Black History month celebration in the US, who else could I start with, than feature in my OUR ROOTS illustrated cartoon strip, the Obamas.

The first African American first family in the White house. They occupied the number one residence in the world with dignity and class. A tribute Comic page was featured here on EURweb of Obama’s History https://eurweb.com/2017/01/barack-obama-an-illustrated-comic-history-by-tayo-fatunla/

Very few African American publishers, living or dead are appreciated for giving a voice to their communities through their independently run newspaper publications. One such, is William H. Lee, the publisher of the Sacramento Observer in California. Black History is celebrating who you/we are.
