‘Drive-By’ Mannequin Challenge Leads to 2 Arrests, Guns & Drugs Seized

*A viral drive-by ‘mannequin challenge‘ video led to multiple firearm and drug charges after authorities raided a Huntsville home on Tuesday, law enforcement officials announced.

The nearly one minute video was posted last month on Facebook and has been viewed over a million times. It shows multiple people pointing guns at one another as if a shootout is underway outside a residence, AL.com reported.

Once authorities got word of a bunch of “froze” black males pointing guns at each other in a viral video, a search warrant was obtained, and a SWAT team raided the Huntsville, Alabama property at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Madison County Sheriff’s Captain Mike Salomonsky said at a press conference. They seized multiple guns and several rounds of ammunition and magazines. Huff Post notes that it’s not clear whether any of these weapons appeared in the video. Authorities also confiscated bags of marijuana and a computer.

Kenneth Fennell White, 49, and Terry Brown, 23, were both arrested during the raid. White is being held on $30,000 bond, and faces charges of first-degree possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm by a violent felon.

Brown is being held on $3,800 bond and faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, loitering and promoting prison contraband.

Meanwhile, a group of white, Confederate flag loving neanderthals posted a similar gun-toting mannequin challenge video on YouTube, but there’s no word yet on whether or not the local police feel any urgency to obtain a warrant and arrest them and confiscate their weapons. Many on social media have concluded that since the young adults in the video are gun-loving members of the complexion protection squad, they obviously have properly registered weapons – unlike the black “thugs” in Alabama.
