*Jailed rapper Bobby Shmurda and his lawyer were in court Tuesday dealing with new charges after he was allegedly caught with a shank.

According to TMZ, prosecutors are offering Bobby the chance to plead guilty to a reduced charge of “attempted promoting prison contraband,” which would come with a sentence of one to four years.

The rapper is already serving seven years for his murder conspiracy case. If he takes the plea deal for the shank, the sentence would run concurrently, according to the website.

Shmurda has until his next hearing on January 7 to decide whether or not he wants the deal.

Sources close to Bobby say his friends, family and lawyers are all encouraging him to take it.
