*Chris Rock will hit the road in 2017 for his first comedy tour in nine years.
On Monday, the comic announced on his official Facebook page the “Total Blackout Tour,” a global outing that will feature brand new material.
“Been a little busy, you know, writing ‘Pootie Tang 3’ and everything. But hey, it’s time, okay?” Rock joked in the video, using the Los Angeles Comedy Store as the background for his announcement.
The news comes weeks after reports that Netflix will pay Rock $40 million for two specials.
