*A coalition of clergy and civil rights leaders are calling for L.A.County District Attorney Jackie Lacey to file criminal charges against LAPD officer Clifford Procter for the May 15th 2015 killing of Brendon Glenn.
Procter shot and killed Glenn who was unarmed and homeless in Venice. The shooting was captured on videotape. LAPD Chief Beck in a historic move called for Lacey to prosecute Procter.
The LA.Police Commission ruled the shooting out of policy. Lacey has refused to prosecute even though this case has been presented to her by Chief Beck with his recommendation for prosecution,” stated Najee Ali
“The city of Los Angeles on Friday announced they have reached a tentative 4 million dollar settlement with the Glenn family. But the faith and civil rights community are demanding justice for Glenn.That can only happen if Proctor is prosecuted for the.murder of Glenn,” stated Pastor K.W.Tulloss and Dr.Ear Ofari Hutchinson
