*Prince Harry joined Rihanna in her native Barbados on Wednesday (Nov. 30) to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the island’s independence from British rule, as well as the Barbados National HIV/AIDS Commission’s “Man Aware” event on Thursday (Dec. 1),
The pair both got tested for HIV to show folks how easy it is, although Harry winced through his finger prick.
When Rihanna completed her test and realized it didn’t hurt, she called Harry out.
“Oh that was not bad,” she told him. “You really made it seem like it hurt!”

While both of their tests came back negative, Harry later stressed in a Facebook Live that positive results aren’t necessarily a death sentence. He added that an early diagnosis can help those affected avoid transmission, urging everyone to get tested like he and Rihanna did.
“It’s better that everyone goes and gets tested,” he said in the webcast. “Why wouldn’t you? Whether you’re a man, woman, gay, straight, black, white, whatever, even ginger, why wouldn’t you come and have a test?”
