*Lil’ Twist was sentenced to one year in jail after pleading no contest on Wednesday (Nov. 30) to assaulting Nickelodeon actor Christopher Massey with brass knuckles and robbing him.

The rapper, born Christopher Lynn Moore, entered a plea deal on the first day of his scheduled trial, but according to the New York Daily News, citing a Los Angeles County District Attorney spokesperson, the deal came at the objection of prosecutors.

“It was not a negotiated plea,” DA spokesman Ricardo Santiago told the paper.

Twist, 23, was sentenced to one year in jail with three years of formal probation. According to TMZ, he turns himself in on Feb. 3 and could get out as early as August with good behavior.

Moore was arrested in April 2015, following a Nov. 7, 2014 incident where he allegedly broke into the Los Angeles apartment of Massey’s younger brother, Kyle Massey, also a Nickelodeon actor. According to prosecutors, he had been asked earlier to leave a party there and returned later with four others who “jumped” Christopher Massey and stole his Rolex, according to TMZ.

He was charged with six felonies, including first-degree residential burglary, assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury, assault with a deadly weapon, grand theft and first-degree robbery.

Moore is signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment.

“It’s over but not really,” Moore tweeted after the hearing. “God got me!!”
