*“Doctor” Bob Lee’s Make The Grade Foundation (MTG), in appreciation of their unwavering commitment to education and community recently  recognized author, actress, performing artist Nana Camille Yarbrough, R&B singer  Gerald Alston (The Manhattans), radio broadcaster/producer  Imhotep Gary Byrd and several other distinguished honorees that have supported and embraced the vision in their communities.

The award was presented at the Make The Grade Foundation (MTG) 12th anniversary fundraiser awards dinner at Terrace On The Park, Flushing Meadows Park, Queens, NY. Proceeds benefit Make The Grade Foundation. The BulLion Foundation was one of several sponsors.

Make The Grade Foundation was founded by Bob Lee (WBLS 107.5 FM radio personality) to raise awareness about the challenges facing our youth and to motivate caring adults to connect with today’s youth. MTG is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that facilitates and encourages academic achievement by implementing programs to educate, mentor and motivate students.

Each honoree is a dream maker educating, encouraging, and inspiring countless numbers of youth to believe in their own dreams. Whether individually or collectively, you have taken the risks, challenged the status quo, and motivated students to excel. The recipients have set themselves apart through their achievements and their innovative approach.
