*Gwen Ifill will be honored for the full half-hour tonight on “Washington Week,” the Friday program she anchored for 17 years before her death from cancer on Monday at age 61.

“Washington Week with Gwen Ifill: A Tribute to a Life Well Lived” (check local listings) will “honor and celebrate Ifill’s remarkable life and legacy with friends and colleagues who knew her best,” said a show spokesperson.

Guests include Michele Norris, formerly with NPR, Dan Balz and Karen Tumulty of The Washington Post, ABC’s Martha Raddatz, NBC’s Pete Williams, Susan Davis of NPR, Rick Berke, formerly with The New York Times and Alexis Simendinger of Real Clear Politics.

In addition to hosting Washington Week since 1999, Ifill also co-anchored the nightly “PBS NewsHour.”

In some markets, PBS is also re-airing “An Evening with Gwen Ifill,” which features the journalist talking about her childhood and career as a print and television correspondent.

Norris, who has said Ifill was “like a sister to me,” appeared on “Charlie Rose” Tuesday to talk about their long friendship and mourn the loss of her “closest friend.”
