*Comedy Central has ordered a second season of “Kevin Hart Presents: Hart of the City,” with plans to premiere the new eight-episode run in 2017.

Currently airing, the show follows Kevin Hart as he travels across the country looking for new comedic talent. Each episode features stand-up sets from local comedians at whichever city Hart is in that week and interstitials where Hart and those comedians discuss the comedy climate in their city.

During Season 1, which airs its season finale on Sunday (Nov. 20), Hart visited Atlanta, Houston, Sacramento, Chicago, Birmingham, and other cities less well known for their comedy scenes.

“Stand-up comedy doesn’t just belong to New York and L.A. — ‘Hart of the City’ is about shining a light on some of the most talented, hardworking comedians in the game, hailing from cities you don’t normally see on TV,” Hart said. “In Season 2, we’re covering even more ground to give fans a taste of the local flavor in comedy scenes across the country.”

Hart is currently shooting “Jumanji,” executive produces and stars in BET’s “Real Husbands of Hollywood” and has another untitled stand-up series in the works at Comedy Central.
