*LeBron James and President-elect Donald J. Trump were both at the White House Thursday (11-10-16).
James and the Cavs were guests of President Barack Obama to celebrate the team’s 2016 NBA championship. The trip had been planned privately for weeks, as it coincides with their road game against the Washington Wizards on Friday. Also, the players and coach want to visit the country’s first black president while he’s still in office.
James and many black players openly struggled with Tuesday’s election results, and they co-sign with disappointed voters who believe Trump’s win was racially charged.

Following Tuesday night’s election, LeBorn posted an inspirational video to his Instagram account encouraging parents and leaders.
“As I woke up today looking and searching for answers on what has happened this song hit it right on the head,” James posted Wednesday to his Instagram, along with the audio to Kendrick Lamar’s song ‘Alright.’
“If we continue the faith(as hard as it may be to do so) we will BE ALRIGHT,” James said. “Parents and leaders of our children please let them know they can still change the world for the better! Don’t lose a bit of faith! They’re our future and we must remain stronger than ever!!”
