*Nine-time NBA All-Star and LA Clipper Chris Paul masters the point guard role on and off the court. He’s leading the LA Clippers to an excellent start while also joining the Chris Paul Family Foundation and Shoes That Fit in providing the entire Barack Obama Charter Elementary school in Los Angeles with new athletic footwear.
Paul surprised the students at their school last Tuesday and sent every kid home with a brand new pair of sneakers. In its seventh year, the Barack Obama Charter School is an Ingenium learning school that encourages students to become more independent and take a leadership role in their education.
Paul is no stranger to helping kids in the classroom. In August, he also assisted in bringing technology and golf to the Watts-Willowbrook Boys & Girls Club.
The Chris Paul Family Foundation and Shoes that Fit previously supplied footwear to children in Chris Paul’s hometown, Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
