After nixing her scheduled Oct. 26 performance of the national anthem upon learning minutes before that she was sporting a “We Matter” jersey, the team has invited her back to sing for the Dec. 16 home game against the Los Angeles Lakers, according to the AP.

As previously reported, the team apologized for their initial cancellation of her performance, which occurred as she was about to step out onto the court before the team’s season opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

“We apologize to her, and in an effort to move the conversation forward, we have reached out to offer her an opportunity to return and perform at a game of her choice. We are waiting to hear back,” the 76ers said in a statement.

Streeter said she accepted the apology, and the 76ers said it plans to make a donation to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Philadelphia.
