The AAFCA Report Presented by EURweb: Introducing Cynthia Addai-Robinson

*The latest episode of The AAFCA Report will introduce you to actress Cynthia Addai-Robinson who is making a splash in the upcoming action thriller, THE ACCOUNTANT.

Starring opposite Ben Affleck, Jeffrey Tambor and AAFCA’s 2014 Best Supporting Actor, J.K. Simmons, Robinson plays Marybeth Medina, a smart and crafty a U.S. Treasury Department analyst. She absolutely shines in her performance as a strong, self-made woman who knows that she is just as good as the big boys. It’s no surprise for the 31-year old actress who has been turning heads for a while with both her looks and confidence.

After falling in love with acting as a teenager, Robinson pursued her passion at New York University’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in theater. She then began her professional career with roles in various Off-Broadway plays, before moving forward with small appearances on TV shows like Law & Order: Trial by Jury, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, CSI: Miami, Numb3rs and Justice. She’s built a steady career with roles in feature films like AAFCA’s 2009 Best Independent Film MISSISSIPPI DAMNED and on TV shows like Spartacus: Vengeance and the History Channel’s 2015 miniseries Texas Rising. Currently she stars as the female led on the new USA Network series the Shooter.

The AAFCA Report caught up with the actress while she was making promotional rounds for her new movie that opens today in theaters nationwide. Watch as she shares with The AAFCA Report her thoughts about her breakthrough role and how she plans to take Hollywood by storm.
