*Michael B. Jordan, Michael K. Williams, Danny Glover and others are featured in a new short film that aims to shed light on police brutality toward African Americans.

Titled “Against the Wall,” the film was directed by Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz, and produced in association with Harry Belafonte’s social justice organization Sankofa.org.

The PSA opens with police sirens and includes audio excerpts from police radios and news coverage of unarmed black men being shot and killed by on-duty officers, paired against footage of Hollywood stars and media personalities like Van Jones and Marc Lamont Hill up against a wall.

Belafonte’s recent MSNBC interview about the epidemic of police shootings plays during the opening credits.

“You cannot just go about, if it’s once or twice you can say it’s an accident or a coincidence, but when you have as large a population of murdered young men in the streets of America and they’re all black or of African American descent, I think someone is sending us a message. And we should respond to that message,” he said.

The sampled audio includes George Zimmerman’s 911 call before fatally shooting Trayvon Martin, Anderson Cooper’s report of Kenneth Chamberlain Sr.’s killing in 2013, and Officer Nakia Jones’ speech about police brutality in a Facebook Live video in July.

“If you are white and you work in a black community and you are racist, you need to be ashamed of yourself,” said Jones, whose audio is featured in the video. “You stood up there and took an oath. If this is not where you want to work at, you need to take your behind somewhere else.”
