*Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is being sued for allegedly causing nearly $100,000 in damages to a Beverly Hills mansion he rented from Jared Pobre, the husband of former WWE wrestler Stacy Kiebler.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Newton rented the spot in March, shortly after his Panthers lost to the Broncos, 24–10, in Super Bowl 50.

According to the lawsuit, Pobre claims Newton agreed in the lease not to throw any parties, smoke cigarettes or have more than eight people at his house at a time. But according to TMZ, the housekeeper ratted out the NFL star and told the rental company that Newton violated every rule – throwing multiple parties and leaving cigarette ashes all over the house.

Newton is also said to have broken a refrigerator, causing water damage to the floor and ruining an expensive rug.

He also allegedly ruined linens and destroyed a $32,000 rug.

Pobre claims the repairs to the house, which Newton rented for $123,000 over 61 days, took two months to complete.

Via TMZ:

Pobre says they went after Cam for the damages — $90,324.47 — but he never paid.

Pobre says home repairs took more than 2 months to complete — so he wants Cam to fork over an additional $180k in lost rent … totaling $270,324.47 … plus legal fees!
