*“Good Morning America” co-anchor Robin Roberts has launched her own podcast inspired by the title of her book, “Everybody’s Got Something.”

“I am thrilled to launch this podcast,” said Roberts, according to Adweek.com’s TVNewser blog. “My first job was in radio and it feels like I’m going back to my roots. I now have the chance to extend the conversation with guests beyond their time on ‘GMA’ and connect in an intimate setting. These remarkable people share their incredible real life challenges and I hope they will inspire our listeners’ to face their ‘somethings.’”

Roberts first guests were President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, who were interviewed by the TV host Thursday at the new National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C.

“The best podcasts create an intimacy with their listeners,” said ABC Radio vice president Steve Jones. “Robin Roberts’ Everybody’s Got Something represents the highest level of this art form. You will be inspired, humored and deeply moved by the personal stories you hear.”

The first three episodes of the seven-episode season were released on Tuesday.
