*Oh…the pain of being part of the BeyHive, yet not allowed to see your queen in person.

Such is the predicament of Genesis, the adorable 6-year-old daughter of Emmy nominee Viola Davis. During the “How to Get Away With Murder” star’s appearance on today’s episode of “Ellen,” the actress spoke about this new source of drama in her household.

“She’s 6 years old and her latest thing is Beyoncé,” Davis told host Ellen DeGeneres. “She wanted to go to a Beyoncé concert and we said, ‘No. You cannot go to Beyoncé, Genesis.’”

Her daughter was understandably heartbroken.

“She went, ‘No! you don’t know what Lemonade means to me, Mom!’” Davis recalls. “‘You don’t know what Beyoncé means to my life!’”

Davis was on “Ellen” to plug season 3 of ABC’s “How to Get Away With Murder,” which premieres on Sept. 22 at 10 p.m.
