*For his first ever music video, fashion designer Marc Jacobs recruited famed director Hype Williams and a number of famous faces to show off pieces from his fall 2016 collection.
The video, set to Man Friday’s “Love Honey, Love Heartache (Larry Levan Mix),” features Jacobs also mixing it up with the likes of Missy Elliott, Kendall Jenner, Courtney Love, Susan Sarandon, Cara Delevingne, St. Vincent (whose real name is Annie Clark), Marilyn Manson and Sissy Spacek — a strategic statement of diversity that mixes age, gender, and race.
“In my mind, there is some kind of nonlinear connection between all of these people. They’re not one thing,” Jacobs told Billboard of his video stars. “They’re connected because you felt within a certain moment that all these things belong together.”
