*Controversy continues to swirl over San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s decision not to stand for the National Anthem in protest of systematic racism in the U.S. But one legendary 49ers alum caused a controversy of his own this morning when he voiced his disapproval of Kaepernick by tweeting “All Lives Matter.”
“All lives matter,” wrote Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice. “So much going on in this world today. Can we all just get along! Colin, I respect your stance but don’t disrespect the Flag.
