Although this is the first year for such recognition, founder Jibril Sulaiman has been working towards the success of the company’s platform, “Cell Pay”, for the past 5 years.
“We barely missed the deadline last year and I was excited that we actually made the list for 2016. However I figured we’d rank around four thousand not four hundred,” exclaimed Jibril, who is 35-years old. “2016 is a new year for our company, and I hope the publicity gives us the exposure we need to attract talent and investors alike,” he continued.
Pay Sell Co (formerly Pay Cell Systems Inc.) has focused on the development of “Cell Pay”, its ecommerce platform for wireless stores, since the company launched in 2011. In 2015, the company was re-branded as Pay Sell Co. as a way to advance its commitment to develop ecommerce-based platforms in several niche markets. These brands include Rapfeatures.com (a marketplace for selling song features), RazSum.cash (an enterprise fundraising platform), Cutt.rs (a payments platform for barbers) and Spendwith.in (a marketplace for ethnic sellers).
Jibril says he has mentored with high profile startup expert and founder of the NewMe Accelerator, Angela Benton. “She’s been such a great resource over the phone and through the NewMe coaching platform,” he said. “I want to continue to grow my network, I value the advice from Angela and likewise will value the advice of any other entrepreneur I meet.”
