*The messy details of Robert Griffin III’s divorce continue to surface, as TMZ reports of his estranged wife Rebecca Liddicoat was still working on trying to save the marriage when she was blindsided by the divorce filing.
As previously and his wife have been separated for months. According to TMZ, the split took place after she discovered he was cheating with Florida State track star Grete Sadeiko. She first met the Cleveland Browns quarterback in January through Instagram, roughly 7 months after Rebecca gave birth to their daughter.
The IG flirtation became serious, and when Rebecca found out about Grete in April, she was pissed, TMZ reported. The two separated shortly after and haven’t lived together in months.
But according to TMZ…
Rebecca was still working on trying to save the marriage as recently as this week … and was blindsided on Tuesday by news that RG3 is “in the process of filing for divorce.”
Now, with RG3 getting Grete’s name tattooed on his arm, we’re told Rebecca has given up on a possible reconciliation.
Bottom line … this was no amicable split.
