Chris Brown Scores Custody Victory Over Nia Guzman

Chris Brown, daughter*Chris Brown scored another win in his ongoing custody dispute with Nia Guzman regarding their daughter, Royalty, according to TMZ. Sources connected to Chris tell the celebrity news site that Guzman struck out on every single request regarding custody of their 2-year-old.

Although the former couple settled on joint custody in September, Nia subsequently returned to court with a new assortment of demands — all of which were denied by the judge handling the case.

Nia wanted full custody, and for Chris to have monitored visitation. She also wanted to deny Chris’ mom the right to see the kid, and she wanted Brown to submit to drug tests — all her requests were denied.

The judge maintained the joint custody agreement. Chris continues to get Royalty 12 days a month. In addition, the judge demanded Nia return the $20,000 that Brown was previously ordered to pay her to cover her legal fees.

Finally, Nia has given up on her petition to increase child support. The mother-of-two, who has a 15-year-old daughter from her previous marriage, was seeking $15,000 a month. Chris is currently paying $2,500.

In May, Chris scored his first legal victory after the judge ruled he could continue his existing custody arrangements over his daughter. Nia had filed papers in April – alleging the singer was unfit to care for Royalty without supervision.

Back in February, Breezy slammed Nia on social media after she alleged his smoking caused their daughter’s asthma. He later threw his little girl an extravagant “Frozen” inspired party in May, spending an estimated $30,000 on the event, which TMZ claims included a $10,000 cake and mini-horses for kids to play with.

Meanwhile, Brown has been urging fans to vote for him after he was nominated for an MTV VMA award for best long form breakthrough video for “Royalty.”
