*At long last, a main trailer has been released for Netflix’s upcoming Marvel/Jessica Jones spinoff “Luke Cage,” starring Mike Colter as the eponymous prison escapee/superhero-for-hire.

The 13-episode series will explore his journey as a wrongly-accused man. At Comic-Con, showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker called the show “relentless.”

In the newly-released main trailer, Colter’s Cage goes from not being sure “what” he is and just wanting “to be left the hell alone” to becoming defender of Harlem, protecting locals and declaring, “You have to fight for what’s right every single day.”

Along the way, he gets a pep talk from Rosario Dawson, reprising her Claire Temple role from “Daredevil” and “Jessica Jones.”

Alfre Woodard plays Mariah Dillard, a local Harlem politician — and cousin to Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes (Mahershala Ali) — who is looking to bring a new era of change to the streets where she grew up. “Luke Cage” also stars Sonia Braga as Soledad Temple, mother of Dawson’s Claire; Frank Whaley as hard-nosed Detective Scarfe; and Simone Missick as bionic-armed Cage associate Misty Knight.

“Luke Cage” debuts on Netflix September 30.
