*Kanye West has headed back to court in the class action lawsuit accusing him of tricking his fans into subscribing to Jay-Z’s Tidal by lying about his latest album only being available on the streaming service, theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports.

According to the complaint, Justin Baker-Rhett filed a class action lawsuit against Kanye and Tidal but on July 6th, West headed to court blasting the suit and demanding the entire case be thrown out. Kanye says he never lied and doesn’t owe a dime to his disgruntled fans.

When Kanye dropped his latest album, “The Life of Pablo,” he vowed that it would never be available on Apple or Spotify and only could be streamed on Tidal. However, the rapper backed out of his promise, and Baker-Rhett explained how the rapper’s promise helped Tidal increase its subscriptions by 2 million. The suit said the bump in subscriptions saved the company by bringing in over $84 million dollars.

Shortly after the album was available on Tidal, Kanye released it on Apple, Spotify and even his own website. Justin says he felt swindled and that Kanye lied to fans in an attempt to save the failing streaming service. Justin’s lawsuit demands damages for himself and all who subscribed to Tidal

Meanwhile, Kanye explained that he has no idea of the number of new subscriptions to Tidal following the release of “The Life of Pablo.” He insists that the version of the album that was available on Apple, Spotify and his website was different than the cut released on Tidal.

In related news, Ray J’s manager, David Weintraub, said that his client is giving serious consideration to taking legal action for his portrayal in the polarizing visual for “Famous.”

“There’s too many times Kanye has done this. You can’t really continue to use people’s likenesses without either compensation or clearance,” Weintraub told Heat magazine. “It seems to be becoming an issue—this is like the fourth time in six months he’s done this.”

Ray J’s initial response to the video was just “trying to stay positive,” but it’s looking like he’s ready to take action for his naked likeness in the music video.
